HALLELUJAH

September 04, 2020
By Diana Schmidt

GOD IS GOOD!!! I am filled with indescribable joy to have our students back on campus. Words don’t do it justice. I know you agree with me when I say I want to say, “HALLELUJAH!”

As I reflect back on this year, and past school year, I think it’s important to remember our suffering, so we can acknowledge how God has grown us; in our faith.

He saw the disciples straining at the oars.” (Mark 6:48)

God watched us all straining and striving this summer. He felt our pain. John 11:35 says, Jesus wept. Have you wept this year? Have you felt pain and disappointment and confusion? How humbling to think God himself not only took human form but understands our pain. God cares for our pains.

And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job...And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning.” (Job 42:10, 12)

In the last seven verses of the book Job, “the Lord restored the fortunes of Job….and gave him twice as much as before.” Will you join me in prayer? Let us fall to our knees at His throne and pray for the schools of our community to also be granted the blessings of the waiver we have received. Let us ask Him to restore our country. God has done, and is doing, a mighty work of redemption and restoration. He is growing our hearts in Him through the struggles we face.
