Mothers' Club 

Mothers' Club is a vital ministry of HCS. See how you can use the gifts and talents God gave you to serve in this ministry.  There are always plenty of opportunities available.  The last big event will be the HCS Spring Festival in May. Though this is a School Board event and all the proceeds go directly into the general fund, Mothers' Club has always served along side and provided much of the man (woman) power to pull this event together. The Mothers' Club Board is also looking for new members to serve on the MC board for the 2010-2011 school year.  There are also Chair positions available to help plan next years Holiday Benefit. Please contact any current MC board member if you are interested or have any questions. Current MC Board memebers are: Jacque de Raadt (Pres), Julie Dragt (V.Pres), Mellody Wilson (Sec), Elena Anzoleaga (Tres), Amada Clemente (Vicar)

28Th Annual Ladies Holiday Benefit

On Saturday, December 5Th over 200 women from our community came to the Hanford Christian School gym for our annual event.  It was very exciting since this was our first time hosting the event on our own campus. Our newly built gym was transformed, by Laura Serna, Teresa Gonzales and a team of mothers and grandmothers of HCS students, into a winter wonderland to match the theme “Jesus Loves You Snow Much.†A delicious lunch was prepared by Carmen Bettencourt and assisted by her daughter Aubrey and other HCS moms. While the ladies enjoyed their lunch they were entertained by 16 members of the CVC Choir, several of which were HCS alumni. Mr. Brad Kane made sure we were able to hear them by setting up and manning the sound system.  The Silent Auction was full of activity as moms, grandmothers and other attendees tried to out bid each other for their coveted item. The popular items were prepared by our own students. The Bakery Store sold out very quickly, even though it was filled to overflow with all sorts of delicious baked goods. Everyone had a joyous time and looking forward to next year’s event. Thank you for making this a successful event.

Please prayerfully consider where you can serve. Mothers' Club has been a vital asset to HCS for many, many years. Mothers' Club has provided much needed classroom essentials as well as numerous extras to enhance the learning of our children. For the last several years we have seen a substantial decline in Mothers' Club participation.

The HCS Mothers' club consists of the mothers of the children currently enrolled at HCS. The goal of the Mothers' Club is to be part of the children's education spiritually, academically and financially. Mothers' Club is a vital part of Hanford Christian School.

  • Academically - by keeping current with educational issure, helping in the classroom, and assisting in the library.
  • Spiritually - by praying for the students, teachers, school, and its needs.
  • Financially - by providing money through various fundraisers for special items and for items not covered in the budget.
