All students learn visual art, performing art, digital art and music through the study of great artists, experiencing a variety of mediums, developing skills of ability and expression, all for the glory of God.
Specific artists, and elements of art history, mediums, software, and skills are studied to become competent in creative expression. We cultivate an environment of praise and worship to our Creator as we communicate with others, while understanding the function and purpose of the arts.

Music has been used throughout history to bring praises to our God. David was an accomplished musician and many of the Psalms were written for the director of music. Hanford Christian School loves to worship the Lord through both vocal and instrumental music. Beginning band starts in fifth grade and then progresses on through junior high. Choir is available to all junior high students. Both band and choir make public appearances and individuals are encouraged to share their musical talents at a Fine Arts Festival held once a year in competition with several other schools.
