Easter Blessings From HCS
"Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here but is risen...." For nearly two thousand years Christians have continued to proclaim this same testimony – Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! It is the Resurrection of Jesus that sets us apart from all other religions and faiths. We serve a risen Savior who conquered sin and death so that we might have eternal life!
When we think of how Christ suffered and voluntarily gave His life on the cross to pay the price for our sin, it’s hard to imagine how such love would not compel us to take a closer look at our own lives, our own purpose in life, and our own passion for Him! After such great (voluntary) suffering and pain, just for us, how in the world can we be so casual about Jesus, His Resurrection from the grave, and eternity itself? How can we not love Him ‘with all our heart, soul, mind and strength?’
